VO2 Tuesday #1: 15 Nov 2016

Warmup: 1 mile, easy pace (conversational)

Drills: 1 x 50m: high knees, butt kicks, fast feet, high skips, long skips, karaoke high step, backward run

Workout: 8 x 1 min fast – 1 min passive rest. Fast = mile race pace or VO2max per Daniels Vdot chart.

Cooldown: 1 mile, easy pace.

  1. The first VO2 Tuesday was a success. We had six runners total and everyone appreciated that it was just hard enough and not a total thrash session. The backward run was interesting on the gravel and the karaoke high steps were really entertaining to watch.
